Me, Me, Me.

Hello,

Blogs, self important people waffling on about things under the guise of friendly chit-chat. When in reality all they want to do is sell you their product – be it photos, flowers, stately homes, or all manner of stuff. Be warned, I will use this forum to sell myself as a photographer and voice my opinions

Photography is how I make a living, making photographs and teaching photography. I am passionate about the subject. I produce images that are of a high standard to sell them for a fair and reasonable price. A price that allows my family to eat and keep a roof over their heads. That is my business.

All businesses are run to make money for those that own that business. Businesses do not run for the benefit of employees, and clients only benefit from receiving a product that they are happy with. In the end a business that is able to provide a service or product that the customer is happy with, and make a livable profit is a business that will benefit. That and pay taxes, taxes and more taxes.

Many prospective clients contact me because they have heard of me via past clients of mine. This is lovely, but please, before reserving a portrait sitting, check out the images on my website, many people (with good taste and a sophisticated aesthetic sense) love my work. But my style it is not to everyone’s taste. If you reserve me to photograph your family I will produce work similar to what you see on my website – www.martynpearson.com.

I won’t (couldn’t) photograph your family leaping around against a white background (with no socks on)… Where’s the dignity in that? Anyway there are many photographers out there who will do that sort of thing for you

Once you have seen my work, and if you connect with it, contact me for a ‘current price guide’. It is important to check out the damage before you commit to a sitting.

I am inordinately proud of my work, I have been a professional photographer for 25+ years, I know what I am doing and I work hard at what I do…..How’s that for self importance.
